Reaghs Caffé & Bar is a corporate café & bar located within the lobby of a CBD building in Sydney. The project required a coordinated café furniture package suitable for high daily foot traffic, informal meetings and after-hours service. Designed by MELHEM Design Studio, the brief centred on creating a refined yet durable hospitality setting within a commercial office environment. The atmosphere balances corporate formality with the warmth expected of a café and bar, ensuring flexibility across breakfast, lunch and evening trade. The furniture selection included upholstered dining chairs for internal seating zones, along with timber and laminate inset table tops forming a series of café tables suited to varied group sizes. Bespoke travertine inset tables were introduced as feature pieces, adding material contrast within the café bar table settings. Powder coated outdoor chairs and upholstered outdoor armchairs were supplied for the exterior zone, extending the commercial café furniture offering beyond the internal lobby footprint. The completed space delivers a cohesive seating and table strategy that supports operational efficiency while maintaining a consistent material palette. The furniture integrates seamlessly with the architectural intent, reinforcing the venue’s dual function as a workplace amenity and hospitality destination.
