No.9 Springfield is a boutique hotel in Potts Point, Sydney. The project required a coordinated hotel furniture package across guest areas and dining spaces, tailored to suit the building’s refined scale and inner-city setting. Working with Ben Selke of Studio Pulp, the brief focused on creating a layered yet restrained atmosphere. The design intent balanced contemporary detailing with tactile materials, ensuring the furniture supported both hotel guests and the operational demands of a compact hospitality footprint. B_seated supplied outdoor rattan chairs for terrace dining, commercial dining chairs and restaurant dining chairs for interior settings, and swivel armchairs for lounge areas. Marble dining table tops were paired with custom table tops to form cohesive restaurant dining sets, while ash timber side tables and hotel mirrors completed guest room and shared spaces. Materials were selected for durability, tonal consistency and long-term commercial performance. The result is a cohesive furniture scheme that aligns with the hotel’s boutique positioning. Each piece contributes to a unified dining and accommodation experience, reinforcing the considered character of the property within Sydney’s hospitality landscape.
