Henry G’s is a wine parlour in Manly on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, conceived as an intimate neighbourhood venue with references to the late 1800s. The project scope included tailored bar furniture and seating solutions to suit the compact footprint and layered interior. The brief called for a moody, heritage-driven environment that felt collected rather than newly built. Dark finishes, low lighting and traditional detailing informed the material palette. The seating needed to reinforce the atmosphere while accommodating regular trade and extended evening use typical of a wine-focused venue. B_seated supplied custom banquette seating, upholstered bar seating, timber bar tables that Sydney clients often request for tight urban sites, and commercial bar tables designed to withstand hospitality traffic. The bar table design incorporated solid timber tops with durable finishes, paired with upholstered stools and chairs in robust commercial-grade fabrics. Each piece was dimensioned for circulation efficiency while maintaining visual weight appropriate to the interior. The completed fit-out delivers a cohesive seating plan that supports both casual drinks and longer stays. The furniture integrates with the architectural detailing, reinforcing the venue’s 1800s reference while meeting contemporary commercial performance standards.
