Commercial Furniture Product Care

How to Care For My Resin Folding Chair:

How do I clean my resin chairs? is probably the most common question that our customers submit. We usually suggest:

  • Clean with water and mild soap for dust and common dirt from everyday use. On dark colors you will only need to remove dust.
  • When "hard to clean" marks are found on the WHITE chairs ONLY, SOFT SCRUB or equivalent products are a good alternative.

If heavier dirt is found on our chairs they can be washed with steam. It can take out almost every kind of dirt and oily grease spots. The operating 212°F-230°F temperature range is considered safe. Steam cleaning should be performed from time to time and only when really needed.

Maintance and Repair for the Italian Resin Series Chairs:

Buying our products means never having to paint a chair again. Because the colours of our products run all the way through the plastic they will never need painting. The only ordinary maintenance required is a wipe down with a mild liquid detergent and water.

For more information on maintenance read below:

Scheduled maintenance:

Again, our chairs are very easy to maintain. Besides regular cleaning, the following can be ubdertaken to maintain the lifespan of the Italian series chairs

Repairs:

If a chair gets scratched, you can try to use detergent like "soft scrub" to remove dirt and keep it clean. For WHITE CHAIRS ONLY, if you need to come up with a more radical treatment to restore the surface, we suggest using sand paper with proper grade in different steps:
a. 120-200 grade for bad scratches.
b. 320-400 grade
c. 600-1200 grade
d. 1500-2000 grade for a very smooth finishing.

WARNING: WHAT IS REPORTED HERE IS INTENDED FOR THE ITALIAN SERIES CHAIRS ONLY. DO NOT TRY THE PREVIOUS PROCEDURES ON COMMON RESIN CHAIRS THAT ARE NOT SUPPLIED BY B SEATED GLOBAL.

STORAGE NOTICE:
DO NOT USE COTTON COVERS WITH RESIN CHAIRS, as the static electricity produced by the two materials combined, attracts dust and any kind of dirt. See our fantastic covers under equipment and specialty product under our website

What Is the Italian Series Chairs Made From

Our two component system results in a thicker, more durable product. The outer layer is hard, with a smooth, showroom finish; Whereas the core is structurally formed so that shrinkage, sinking, warping and internal stress are greatly reduced.

Our two component system results in a thicker, more durable product. The outer layer is hard, with a smooth, showroom finish; Whereas the core is structurally formed so that shrinkage, sinking, warping and internal stress are greatly reduced.

S) - an outer modified solid, aesthetic resin
C) - an inner expanded, closed cell modified resin with high mechanical resistance

The bi-component molding process employed involves one material engulfing the other so that each component retains its individual characteristics. The solid outer material guarantees a premium aesthetic finish and is resistant to the effects of UV rays, temperature extremes, water, humidity, and the wear and tear of everyday use. The inner closed cell material has the ability to withstand the structural stress and tension which result from unavoidable movements during the use of this product. The structural bi-component resin remains undistorted; with both materials assuring maximum resistance. The result is a superior, premium quality product with a longer life than that of similar products manufactured using the conventional, single component injection molding process.

Structural bi-component resin features:

  • durable thickness
  • smooth, "show room" finish
  • resistance to environmental agents
  • high mechanical resistance and strength
  • flexibility and comfort
  • long product life

RESIN CHAIRS ARE NOT ALL THE SAME

Our Competitors Chairs

MOST OF OUR COMPETITOR'S CHAIRS HAVE TWO DIFFERENT RESINS WITH TWO DIFFERENT COLORS ON THE SAME CHAIR.
Two different resins with two different UV ratings will age into two dramatically different colors in a short time frame.

AVERAGE WEIGHT: 6 KG

Some of our competitors use cheaper materials or technologies, and are able to make the chairs in polypropilene using METALLIC inserts to give them strength as they can't get the plastic technologhy right:

Why is this a bad idea ? First you have a chair that is VERY HEAVY UNNECESSARILY SO and secondly... when plastic is injected in the chair mold, it shrinks during the cooling process, while the metallic insert inside does not. This leaves residual tension in the plastic around the metallic insert, making it FRAGILE and very likely to break when the chair is dropped even from small heights.
PLASTIC WITH A METALLIC INSERT IS NOT AS EASY TO RECYCLE, and.... we should respect the environment shouldn't we?
