How are Werzalit Tops Manufactured

Manufactured in Europe by Werzalit using their worldwide patented manufacturing process. The process is used to manufacture 50 different shapes and sizes of durable weatherproof, inexpensive and attractive tabel tops in a variety of traditional and trendy designs including woodgrain, stone, colours, abstracts and combinations.

The Foundation of each Werzalit table top is a mix of high quality hardwoods and softwoods, finely chipped from sustainably managed forest timbers. These wood particles are then kiln-dried to an extremely dry 1% moisture content before being blended with high quality thermosetting synthetic resins, plus anti-rot and anti-moisture agents. which are absorbed deeply into the thirsty individual particles and fibres.

This mixture is then compressed and set at 140 degrees Celcius under high pressure in stainless steel dies before the hardwearing, decorative and intermediate upper layers are applied and inseparably moulded together gain under heat and pressure in the dies.

This method produces high quality table tops which are seamless, hygenic, functional and beautiful products for the hospitality industry. Constant montitoring by European institutes guarantees a consistently high quality standardised table top product.
